WHERE WE TRAVEL
Journeys across Aberdeenshire
Deeside sees a lot of our work. Banchory, Aboyne, Ballater and the surrounding villages are a long way apart by road, and the run along the North Deeside road takes what it takes. Having the price fixed before you set off matters more here than it does across town.
North of the city, the Garioch and Formartine towns come up constantly. Inverurie to Oldmeldrum, Ellon out to the coast, evenings at Meldrum House or Thainstone, and the golf at Trump International Links and Cruden Bay. Six seats makes a difference on those, because a fourball plus clubs doesn't fit in a saloon.
Along the coast it's Stonehaven and the Mearns, with Dunnottar and the harbour restaurants drawing people down in the evenings, and Portlethen and Newtonhill in between.
